Light Progress UV-DUCT-FL-NX, UV air disinfection system for HVAC applications

Light Progress UV-DUCT-FL-NX is a compact UV-C disinfection system for HVAC ductwork and air-handling units. It is installed from outside the ventilation duct and creates a UVGI barrier that reduces the microbiological load in the air stream, on cooling coils and on the system’s internal surfaces.

• Ideal for retrofitting existing HVAC installations: the system is installed through two openings in the ductwork, while the flange and controls remain outside the duct, simplifying retrofit installation.

• Helps prevent biofilm in HVAC systems: continuous operation inhibits biofilm growth promoted by moisture, temperature variations and dark areas within air-conditioning installations.

• Reduced maintenance and operating costs: a cleaner HVAC installation can reduce the need for cleaning internal surfaces and for frequent filter replacement, contributing to efficient system operation.

• Simple monitoring and robust construction: each lamp has a status LED, a general alarm is available and an optional hour counter can be provided; the AISI 304 stainless-steel housing and protective grille support operation in demanding conditions, including high humidity and low temperatures.
