Light Progress UV-STYLO-S-C is a compact UV-C module for kitchen hoods, extraction ductwork and ventilation systems in professional kitchens. Flange installation enables rapid fitting in new-build or retrofit projects, while UV treatment helps reduce grease, odours and deposits in the extraction system.

  • Reduces grease deposits: UV-C energy acts on grease particles in the air stream, helping limit grease accumulation in the hood and exhaust ductwork.

  • Helps reduce odours: the system treats air extracted during cooking, while the optional TiOx® filter complements UV-C action through a photocatalytic process that supports deodorisation.

  • Helps reduce fire risk: by limiting the formation and accumulation of flammable grease deposits in the extraction system, the unit helps improve kitchen safety.

  • Rapid installation in existing systems: the external flange allows the UV-C lamp to be inserted through the duct wall without complex work inside the ventilation duct.

  • Configuration tailored to the application: versions with ozone-free UV-C lamps are available and, for certain models, UV-C+O₃ lamps can be specified. These can be selected according to duct length and air-treatment requirements.

Between 8,000 and 12,000 hours, depending on the model. After this period the efficiency drops because the mercury vapour inside the lamps is consumed.
We recommend replacing the lamps on time, according to the technical recommendations of the product.
For products in stock we deliver by courier in approximately 1-2 working days. For products that are not in stock, the delivery time is between 2 and 4 weeks.
Between 12 and 24 months, depending on the manufacturer. UV lamps have different warranties depending on the manufacturer.
Original OEM consumables are made by the equipment manufacturer and guarantee 100% compatibility.
CERTIFIED equivalent lamps are alternatives with the same performance and the same service life, but at a lower price.
OEM spare parts are 100% compatible with the equipment they are used for. Consumables requested by customers (UV lamps, quartz sleeves, electronic ballasts) are checked against the original product codes and technical characteristics before being quoted. Their compatibility with the equipment they were requested for is guaranteed.
