Nuvonic UVpro BD 2016 HD is a UV-C system for disinfecting conveyor belts and surfaces in the food industry. Installed beneath the conveyor belt, it irradiates the underside of the belt without directly exposing the product, helping reduce cross-contamination and maintain hygiene throughout production.


  • Reduces cross-contamination on the conveyor belt: positioning beneath the conveyor allows UV-C disinfection of the belt surface between process areas, without directly irradiating the conveyed product.

  • Construction for intensive washdown: the device has TÜV-certified IP69K protection, making it suitable for food-processing environments with high-pressure washdown and demanding hygiene requirements.

  • Hygienic, easy-to-clean design: the robust housing is made from V2A 1.4301/AISI 304 stainless steel and blue SustaRin CFG, materials selected for durability and simplified maintenance.

  • Integration into new or existing lines: the system can be readily installed, including as a retrofit on existing conveyors, with an optional mounting kit available.

  • Predictable operation and maintenance: the UV-C tube replacement interval is up to 12,000 hours, at 75% ±5% of emission performance.

Between 8,000 and 12,000 hours, depending on the model. After this period the efficiency drops because the mercury vapour inside the lamps is consumed.
We recommend replacing the lamps on time, according to the technical recommendations of the product.
For products in stock we deliver by courier in approximately 1-2 working days. For products that are not in stock, the delivery time is between 2 and 4 weeks.
Between 12 and 24 months, depending on the manufacturer. UV lamps have different warranties depending on the manufacturer.
Original OEM consumables are made by the equipment manufacturer and guarantee 100% compatibility.
CERTIFIED equivalent lamps are alternatives with the same performance and the same service life, but at a lower price.
OEM spare parts are 100% compatible with the equipment they are used for. Consumables requested by customers (UV lamps, quartz sleeves, electronic ballasts) are checked against the original product codes and technical characteristics before being quoted. Their compatibility with the equipment they were requested for is guaranteed.
