The biodosimetrically tested UV systems from the Spektron product range meet all the requirements of safe and environmentally friendly water disinfection according to §11 of the German drinking water regulation (TrinkwV 2001), the Austrian ÖNORM guideline and the US EPA's UV Disinfection Guidance Manual. What makes the series special is the consistent optimisation of hydraulic characteristics at a very low headloss by the use of unique Flow Diverters (OptiCone®). Improved ECORAY® lamps and variable power ECORAY ballasts offer a unique power saving potential and an extended lamp life.
An automatic chemical-free wiping system minimizes operational maintenance and ensures best performance at all times.The robust construction makes them usable in water with high humic contents like high quality ground water. The high level of electromagnetic protection is documented by a certificate of EMC compliance. The new UV reactor construction ensures simple installation within virtually any space limitation.
