Wedeco Spektron LBX is a high-performance UV system for disinfecting drinking water, pressurised wastewater, greywater and process water. Its thin-film reactor is designed for demanding applications, including water with low UV transmittance and viscous liquids such as sugar syrup.

Validated performance for demanding applications: the LBX range has been tested against the USEPA UVDGM guideline, NWRI recommendations and California’s strict water-reuse requirements.
Suitable for challenging water conditions and critical processes: the system is designed to maintain effective UV disinfection even when water has low UV transmittance.
Supports reduced freshwater consumption: enables the recycling of different types of process water and the reuse of treated water in industrial processes where the application allows.
Adapted for viscous liquids: a design suitable for sugar syrup disinfection helps control microorganisms such as yeasts and spore-forming organisms.

Between 8,000 and 12,000 hours, depending on the model. After this period the efficiency drops because the mercury vapour inside the lamps is consumed.
We recommend replacing the lamps on time, according to the technical recommendations of the product.

For products in stock we deliver by courier in approximately 1-2 working days. For products that are not in stock, the delivery time is between 2 and 4 weeks.

Between 12 and 24 months, depending on the manufacturer. UV lamps have different warranties depending on the manufacturer.

Original OEM consumables are made by the equipment manufacturer and guarantee 100% compatibility.
CERTIFIED equivalent lamps are alternatives with the same performance and the same service life, but at a lower price.

OEM spare parts are 100% compatible with the equipment they are used for. Consumables requested by customers (UV lamps, quartz sleeves, electronic ballasts) are checked against the original product codes and technical characteristics before being quoted. Their compatibility with the equipment they were requested for is guaranteed.
