Wedeco Acton PE is a closed UV reactor designed for water disinfection in corrosive and demanding conditions, including fish farms, aquariums, saltwater thermal pools and fish-transport vessels. Its HD-PE housing resists saltwater and biological elements, supporting biosecurity and water quality.

  • Superior corrosion resistance: the reactor is made from high-quality HD-PE (PE100), a non-corrosive material designed for exposure to saltwater and challenging biological conditions.

  • Biosecurity for aquaculture: treats supply, discharge and recirculation water to help limit the growth of pathogenic bacteria, fungi and viruses, supporting hygienic conditions for farmed organisms.

  • High capacity in a single reactor: depending on the model and design conditions, the range can treat flow rates of up to 829 m³/h in one reactor.

  • Energy use adapted to actual demand: 600 W EcoRay® lamps and the sensor-based OptiDose function adjust the UV dose to operating conditions and can reduce energy consumption.

  • Simplified maintenance and advanced monitoring: lamp replacement requires no tools, while the EcoTouch controller enables lamp monitoring and can optionally be connected to SCADA.

Between 8,000 and 12,000 hours, depending on the model. After this period the efficiency drops because the mercury vapour inside the lamps is consumed.
We recommend replacing the lamps on time, according to the technical recommendations of the product.
For products in stock we deliver by courier in approximately 1-2 working days. For products that are not in stock, the delivery time is between 2 and 4 weeks.
Between 12 and 24 months, depending on the manufacturer. UV lamps have different warranties depending on the manufacturer.
Original OEM consumables are made by the equipment manufacturer and guarantee 100% compatibility.
CERTIFIED equivalent lamps are alternatives with the same performance and the same service life, but at a lower price.
OEM spare parts are 100% compatible with the equipment they are used for. Consumables requested by customers (UV lamps, quartz sleeves, electronic ballasts) are checked against the original product codes and technical characteristics before being quoted. Their compatibility with the equipment they were requested for is guaranteed.
