Nuvonic ProLine PQ WW IL is a medium-pressure UV system validated for the disinfection and reuse of municipal or industrial wastewater. Designed for critical applications affecting public health and the environment, it provides chemical-free UV treatment after sand or membrane filtration, together with continuous UV-dose monitoring. 


  • Independent validation for water reuse: the ProLine PQ WW IL range is validated in accordance with the NWRI standard across an extended range of UV-dose, flow-rate, and UV-transmittance (UVT) parameters.

  • UV disinfection without chlorination by-products: a practical alternative to chlorination that avoids the potentially harmful by-products associated with chemical treatment.

  • Real-time UV-dose control: the DVGW-compliant dry UV sensor measures germicidal radiation and, together with the flow-meter signal, enables UV-dose display under actual operating conditions.

  • Self-cleaning for water with a high fouling potential: the system includes electrically driven automatic cleaning of the quartz sleeves; optionally, Ultrawipe technology adds chemical-action cleaning.

  • Straightforward integration into existing plants: the compact reactor with flanged connections can be retrofitted into existing process streams, while the UVtronic controller can communicate with SCADA systems via Modbus RS-485. 


Recommended applications

The system is recommended for final disinfection of treated wastewater and for municipal or industrial water-reuse projects. It can be installed downstream of sand filters or membrane filters, or in a decentralised treatment stream, before the reclaimed water is directed to its intended reuse application.

Between 8,000 and 12,000 hours, depending on the model. After this period the efficiency drops because the mercury vapour inside the lamps is consumed.
We recommend replacing the lamps on time, according to the technical recommendations of the product.
For products in stock we deliver by courier in approximately 1-2 working days. For products that are not in stock, the delivery time is between 2 and 4 weeks.
Between 12 and 24 months, depending on the manufacturer. UV lamps have different warranties depending on the manufacturer.
Original OEM consumables are made by the equipment manufacturer and guarantee 100% compatibility.
CERTIFIED equivalent lamps are alternatives with the same performance and the same service life, but at a lower price.
OEM spare parts are 100% compatible with the equipment they are used for. Consumables requested by customers (UV lamps, quartz sleeves, electronic ballasts) are checked against the original product codes and technical characteristics before being quoted. Their compatibility with the equipment they were requested for is guaranteed.
