UV light exposure is a disinfection process without chemical substances that can destroy microorganisms by breaking and transforming the ADN’s link so that they can no longer reproduce. This safe and demonstrated process does not lead to genetic changes of the microorganisms, which means that they do not create other species that can resist to the disinfection process.
Based on the application, UV disinfection can be the only process used for air disinfection or the treatment of wastewater or can be implemented together with other traditional cleaning methods in order to create an improved and efficient cleaning regime.
